Harden's Debut!

Updated: Mar 22, 2022

My name is Pernell Ghee III and in this blog, I will basically be going into depth about James Harden and his career as well as his current 2021-2022 NBA season. I will talk about his career and the journey it took him on while also talking about how he is performing up to this day. As of now, James Harden has actually played for four different NBA teams being Nets, Thunder, the Rockets, and the current Sixers. When it came to the Thunder, Harden was a rookie and didn’t really have any Pro experience. However, his debuts since leaving the Thunder he has made history when it comes to putting up impressive stats, as of right now James Harden is the only player to have three-consecutive triple-double in his last three debuts. To carry on, James Harden's first day out, meaning first game with the Sixers he shot an impressive 7/12 from the field while going 5/7 from deep. In his debut with the Nets, he was the first player ever to put up a 30+ point triple-double. In the win vs the Timberwolves, he ended the game with 27 points 8 rebounds, and 12 assists just two rebounds shy of a triple-double which would have been absurd to do on a new team in your first game. The following game after Harden's debut the Sixers had the New York Knicks next up on their schedule and the game happened to be @ Madison Square Garden. James Harden ultimately ended this game with a triple-double as he stacked up 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 16 assists. While shooting a nice 8/14 from the field and an impressive 10/10 from the charity strike. We as fans were all witnesses to Harden’s amazing triple-double stats but the Sixers actually went on an impressive 5 game win streak since Harden’s been able to suit up! However, they took a tough loss on Thursday, March 10th. The Sixers and Harden didn’t stay down long as theory bounced back yesterday vs the Orlando Magic, that game went on way longer than expected as the Sixers pulled it out in OT. Harden’s probably been my favorite player since I picked a basketball up and it hasn’t changed since. In later blogs, I plan on breaking down and explaining James Harden’s career for what it is and I'll let the audience decide if he is as good as I think/know he is. I’ll also allow some guest speakers on the blog from time to time just to allow you guys to hear a different voice or even opinions so to say. In those blogs, however, there will be some back and forth convo happening while we try to discover if the trade was actually worth it for the Sixers or the Nets.

Interestly enough, a lot of people unfortunately believe that this trade was a loss for the 76er's due to the Nets actually acquiring "Seth Curry, Ben Simmons & last but not least Andre Drummond".

How I watch the NBA games mainly James Harden's!
